Enfo met IBM managers to discuss future Maximo strategies during InterConnect

IBM InterConnect does not only offer interesting lectures and laboratory work, but is also a fantastic arena for meeting global managers within IBM to discuss and establish ideas and business models, as well as to give feedback in the form of the responses we have received from our customers at home. During InterConnect, Enfo is attending a large number of planned meetings with both product and business managers within various parts of IBM's product suites.

One of today's meetings was between representatives from Enfo's Service and Asset Management skills area and Bill Cheng, VP, Internet of Things Engineering, as well as Jeff Dean, Director Internet of Things Development Maximo and Tririga, IBM. The agenda included items such as Enfo's All the Way to Value concept regarding IBM Maximo, new collaborative models, customer transformation and business models.

Service and Asset Management within Enfo is at the forefront when it comes to offering best practice for solutions based on the customer's level of maturity, as well as determining which business solutions are best implemented to achieve the maximum business value. This has achieved considerable impact within IBM. The discussions with Bill and Jeff have led to many inspirational suggestions for work relating to customised products, the transformation of industry, as well as ideas about how we need to help our customers in future.

One area that has been noted in the work with our customers is the need for mobility and to expand the mobile aspects of our customer solutions, connected machines (Internet of Things) and the handling of cloud solutions. There was also time to discuss this and much more besides before the start of the next meeting…
