Patrik and his team create your cloud experience
Right now there is a rush to the cloud. Patrik Lagerträd and his team help our customers to a smooth journey.
“To us, it’s all about maintaining the technical advantage by having co-workers that are driven by helping each other and continuously learning new things,” says Patrik Lagerträd, head of cloud operations at Enfo.
By now, Enfo has come a long way in our cloud endeavors. Amongst other work, we have since 2012 built up PostNord’s infrastructure for logistics and feedback. Together with his cloud Team in Örebro, Sweden, Patrik develops processes, systems, and security solutions for the cloud. Work that entitles a constant hunt to challenge and enhance the technology of today — everything to ensure that Enfo is on the absolute front line of technology. ”We have visualized the customer’s experience of working in the cloud, how it should feel and what to offer that keeps us ahead of the competition. I also think that it feels like a safe solution to work with since our security teams are world class,” says Patrik.
I think the most distinguishable quality that everybody shares is the will to help their colleagues.
Enfo’s security department - global security operation center
One of the secrets to safe cloud services is Enfo’s very own security department — Global Security Operations Center (G-SOC) — a service with colleagues who are certified and completely dedicated to ensuring that our customers remains entirely safe. The department is made up from educated security personnel who does everything from recommendations before the migration to the cloud to ensuring the cloud services are monitored in real time, around the clock when it’s up and running.
”We’re aiming for providing a complete service and create added value through both providing technology and knowledge. To us, it’s important that the processes around the cloud are clear, how we do an onboarding, and what you as a customer can expect from us as a provider. To have stable and secure processes when delivering cloud services is crucial,” according to Patrik.
Who are the people working in your cloud team?
“I think the most distinguishable quality that everybody shares is the will to help their colleagues. When they see an issue or a problem all of them takes care of it themselves, instead of waiting for somebody else to do it for them. Other than that, I think that we’re pretty good at asking for help when we need it. I want our team to work as a unit — not be dependent on a certain person but instead solve problems together. To me, it’s incredibly important that people can, and will, ask for help if you’re in need.”
To have an open mind and daring to ask for help is crucial if you want to learn and develop faster than everybody else.
About investing in air and constantly staying technically relevant
“My goal with the team is that you should be able to work with new and exciting technology, since cloud is something that is evolving constantly. Therefore, it’s important to give the colleagues enough empty space in their calendars so they will have time to enhance their skills and learn new things. To me, it’s all about being able to provide an attractive workspace where we can benefit from every individual’s willingness to learn and their drive.”
