Samuli Savo appointed Executive Vice President of Enfo’s IT services and outsourcing business area
Samuli Savo (b. 1975, M.Sc. (Eng.)) has been appointed EVP of Enfo Group’s IT services and outsourcing business area and a member of the Group’s Executive Management Team starting from 1 August 2015.
Samuli Savo will transfer to his new position from consulting company Gartner, and will be responsible for Enfo’s IT services and outsourcing business area. This is the Group’s largest business area, employing nearly 400 IT professionals at four locations in Finland and Sweden.
“Samuli is an excellent addition to Enfo’s Executive Management Team. He has solid experience in developing and managing IT services business in an international operating environment. Through his latest post, he also has an excellent understanding of how Enfo can best help its customers in the changes caused by the ongoing process of digitalization. The new business potential offered by cloud services, analytics and internet of things is a good example of such changes,” says Arto Herranen, CEO of Enfo Group.
“IT is an ever more important driver in terms of the competitiveness of all companies. However, companies are always looking for a balance between maintaining their current IT environment and investing in new opportunities. In particular, medium-sized companies are facing a challenging situation as their IT environment, which has grown over the years, is often a complex one, but they rarely have the resources to develop IT. What is more, most IT service providers are mainly interested in serving larger corporations.
That is why I believe that Enfo has the capacity to gain significant growth in the Nordic region by focusing on medium-sized companies. We will help customers find a balance in their IT development by making it easier for them to seize new opportunities,” Savo says.
Osmo Wilska, who previously held the position, is currently responsible for outsourcing operations in Enfo’s Financial Process services.
