Thomas Andersson appointed EVP, Digital Trust

Changes in Enfo Group’s Management Team, business areas reorganized

Enfo strengthens its focus on digital responsibility. Thomas Andersson has been appointed EVP for Enfo’s new business area Digital Trust and member of the Group Management Team.

“Today’s businesses and societies are running on digital processes and the underlying data. Customers, employees, and citizens must be able to trust that their data is professionally and securely managed. Our new Digital Trust business area helps our clients build and operate secure digital businesses with focus on driving digital transformation and growth for our clients,” says Mikko Valorinta, CEO.

Thomas Andersson has led security and digital identity services at Enfo since 2013.

“Today, business value and security governance are often put against each other. We truly believe in business enablement where security is value added, not a constraint. We want to enable our customers’ digital transformation as well as ensure trust. Digital trust is the currency of the digital economy and encompasses ethics, behaviors and technology,” says Thomas Andersson.

Enfo is reorganizing its business areas per June 1, 2021. The new business areas are: Applications & Data headed by Björn Arkenfall in Sweden, Digital Trust headed by Thomas Andersson in Sweden, Care & Data Platforms headed by Nina Annila in Finland, and Data & Analytics headed by Sami Kähkönen in Finland.

Erik Brügge, who has led business area Care and Data Platforms Sweden, has decided to leave Enfo to pursue new opportunities outside the company.

“I want to thank Erik for his contribution and wish him good luck with his future endeavors,” says Valorinta.
